On January 28, 2016 the working group on preparation of the arrival of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA in Ukraine Geoffrey Payette held a meeting.

The Ambassador’s arrival is scheduled for September 1, 2016 to mark the opening of a kindergarten in Nova Hreblya village of Kalynivka district.

During the meeting Chairman of the Vinnytsia Regional Council Anatoliy Oliynyk, Head of Humanitarian Aid Program of Department of Defense Cooperation of the US Embassy in Ukraine Lyudmyla Kyrylenko, Head of the project from “Artbudservice” Company Yevhen Sulima, Director of “Artbudservice” Olexander Radchenko and Head of Nova Hreblya village council Anatoliy Andriyuk discussed the progress of construction works of social infrastructure buildings.

It should be noted that the company “Artbudservice” as a general contractor will carry out major repairs of Nova Hreblya pre-school institution and reconstruction of a hostel for migrants from conflict areas. The works will be performed in the framework of the U.S. Government humanitarian assistance programs (EUCOM).

According to Lyudmyla Kyrylenko, in the framework of Humanitarian Aid Program of the U.S. Government, it was decided to allocate funds for the benefit of the civilian population. She noted that the Vinnytsia region is unique in providing migrants with quality conditions for permanent or temporary residence, so it was decided to allocate funds for the insulation of the facade of the former vocational school dormitory, which is now home to a group of Crimean Tatars.

In addition, the meeting addressed the issue of allocation of funds for capital repairs of the kindergarten, which was not operational since 1991. The project foresees the implementation of a complete renovation without equipment.
