Procurement Manager for a construction company
ArtBudService, a construction company that has been successfully delivering large-scale turnkey industrial and commercial projects across Ukraine since 2010, is expanding its team. We are inviting an energetic and systematic professional to join our office in the role of: Logistics Manager.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Processing requests: collecting, analysing and processing internal requests for building materials, equipment and services from site managers and project managers.
- Supplier sourcing: identifying the best terms (price, quality, delivery times) by working with our existing database and actively seeking new suppliers and manufacturers.
- Market monitoring: ongoing analysis of the market for building materials, structures, tools and specialist equipment hire services.
- Logistics and planning: drawing up detailed schedules for the supply of materials/services to sites and monitoring timely delivery.
- Cost control: updating current material prices in the company’s cost estimate documentation.
- Database management: maintaining, populating and structuring a unified database of reliable suppliers and contractors.
Candidate requirements:
- Work experience: experience in construction supply, commercial procurement or B2B sales of building materials.
- Negotiation skills: the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate and secure favourable terms of cooperation.
- Analytical thinking: ability to process large volumes of information quickly and manage data without compromising quality.
- Professional software: confident practical skills in using 1C:Enterprise and Microsoft Excel, and experience in searching for information online.
- Personal qualities: high level of self-organisation, attention to detail.
